寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Rhode Island
Becoming a foster (resource) parent in Rhode Island means providing a safe, temporary home to a child in the care of the state. Among the requirements before licensure: being trained in first aid and adult, child and infant CPR.
急救要求
Under Rhode Island's Foster Care and Adoption Regulations for Licensure (214-RICR-40-00-3), non-kinship resource caregivers must be trained in first aid and adult, child and infant CPR before licensure, including an in-person/classroom component, and renewed at least every two years. The training ensures caregivers can respond to common childhood emergencies.
This is recognized by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), and the certification must be kept current from a recognized organization. It is one requirement in addition to the home study, background checks and the assessment of parenting suitability.
严重过敏与过敏性休克
First-aid training covers recognizing and managing severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), including the use of an epinephrine auto-injector.
